I took a blogging break throughout August and September so that I could focus on planning our late September wedding, our short but sweet honeymoon to Newport, Rhode Island, and trips to two of my cousins’ weddings all packed into a two month period. But that whirlwind of activity wasn’t the only reason I went on hiatus. I’ve had a lot of changes in my life throughout the past year, and while I thought after getting through the last couple of months I’d want to start pouring my energy into growing this blog again, I’m not sure it’s the right space for my life right now.

WIAW #64: Wedding Eats
This WIAW covers a Saturday that began with post run brunch in New York City and ended at a wedding with perhaps the most food I’ve ever seen in one room. Weekly Workouts and Updates 6/13-6/20
Since yesterday’s post was all about my dear friend Lauren’s wedding, I’m sharing my usual weekly workouts and updates today instead. Read on for a look at my running this week, and a glimpse of other life happenings during the week and weekend!
A West Point Wedding
This weekend, one of my close childhood friends tied the knot with her now-husband at West Point. Lauren is truly one of the loveliest people I know, both inside and out, dedicating her life to Nick, to her family and friends, and to her patients as a nurse. Her bridal shower was wonderful, and as it happened, the wedding was probably the most beautiful one I’ll ever attend.
