Taking a #BreakYouMake

Recently, Chobani sent out a call to action, asking for nominations of someone in our lives who deserves a break, in tandem with their Chobani Flips #BreakYouMake campaign urging all of us to take a break with a delicious snack. Now, being that I’m currently in the midst of studying for the bar exam, I myself feel the urge to take a break…all the time…so this was serendipitous timing!

I’m nominating my dear friend Abby, one of my closest friends from law school who’s adventured around the city with me these past few years and is now in the depths of bar exam review. She definitely deserves a break too!

Luckily, we’ve managed to squeeze in a few breaks together, mostly over fun dinners out to break the studying monotony. It’s great to have a good friend in the thick of it with you who’s up for sushi or willing to share gluten-free pizza even when she is a wheat-eater. And we both love Chobani Greek yogurts for breakfast and snacks, so these new treats would be a perfect study break.

Who in your life deserves a break? What’s your favorite snack for a study or work break?

  1. Good luck on your exam! I personally think my mom deserves a break… but who doesn’t think that? My favorite snack would definitely have to be either homemade ice-cream topped with nut butter or some fresh and juicy cherries!

  2. That is awesome and what a unique and cool campaign. Thanks for sharing! I really enjoy Chobani yogurts as well. I have yet to try their new flips though but I’m sure I would enjoy them.
